How to care for your fresh Christmas tree
- Place the tree in a stand that can hold at least 1 gallon of water
- The tree will sap this water for a while. Keep refilling until this water uptake stops
- Always keep the base of the tree in water
- If possible, cut one inch off the base of the tree at intervals. Place it back in the water immediately after cutting
